The week of Christmas cheer was not very cheerful for this morning light hunter. I planned, and actually departed, for three different shoots including Sperry Peninsula, Fisherman Bay, Agate Beach, Otis Perkins Day Park and Iceberg Point. Each time the weather forecast at night showed a reasonably favorable sunrise only to be changed to cloudy when I woke at 6am. And in each case I loaded up and headed out.
The video below is a time lapse of one of the better mornings. I was hopeful for a moment but that didn't last long.
So the only keeper that I got was the day before Christmas. An almost full moon setting into the clouds over San Juan Island. I'm certainly not complain as I quite enjoy it. But it wasn't quite what I was planning for.
